Finding new destinations for day trips must be getting more and more difficult.

We are working in close association with the AVON VALLEY RAILWAY to offer you a day with a difference - combining a boat trip around Bristol's historic harbour and a steam train journey from a countryside railway station just 30 minutes away.

The boat trip comprises an hour's cruise on board our luxury  passenger boat "Silver Salmon" offering comfort and safety for all ages. There is plenty of room on board for our most senior of citizens or passengers with mobility difficulties, as long as they can manage (with some assistance if necessary) just a few steps to board.  There is a choice of boarding locations, all positioned close to where your coach or cars can park.

When you leave Bristol your coach journey to the railway takes you to Bitton station in around 30 minutes, where your steam train will be waiting to take you on a journey back in time.

Your itinerary for the day can be arranged in either order - boat first then train, or train then boat.

These trips are available most Sundays and Bank holidays from Easter to the end of September, Wednesdays in June and July and also Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during school holidays.

It Couldn't Be Easier!

Your host for the day will meet you in Bristol and escort you to our moorings, a very short walk and then just a few steps to board our vessel, the "Silver Salmon", with safe and easy access for even the most senior of our citizens.

Your coach can stop very close by and be available to collect you after your cruise.
