Who are your owners? – We are. Avon River Cruises Ltd is a totally independent family owned and managed company. |

Is the “Silver Salmon” your only vessel? – Yes she is, at least at the moment. However, with totally flexible seating and table layouts she is ideal for any occasion, from short day trips to all day charters, from parties to corporate functions, from weddings to wakes, with our own on board catering from our fully equipped galley. |

Can we bring our own food and drink on board? – Sorry no. We can provide a wide range of catering options to suit your budget and a well stocked bar with sensible prices.
We have a fully equipped commercial galley on board which adheres to strict food and safety standards, and our facilities have a max. 5 stars food hygiene accreditation |

Is your vessel safe? – Yes, absolutely. The “Silver Salmon” is a steel hull wide beam river cruiser built to the highest standards and along with a very experienced crew conforms entirely to all operational and safety regulations as specified by the official licensing authority, the MCA (Maritime & Coastguard Agency) |

Is your vessel easily accessible for elderly persons? – Yes, there is achoice of boarding points in Bristol and we can arrange to be at the best location to suit your requirements. |

Can you take disabled passengers? – Yes, we are very happy to accept passengers with mobility difficulties provided they can manage, with our assistance, just a few small steps to board. There is individual comfortable seating, 2 good toilet facilities and we have plenty of room on board for several wheelchair passengers, |

What is your smoking policy? – Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the vessel, but any smokers are very welcome to use the open front deck.
We have a zero tolerance to possession of drugs anywhere on the vessel, and we reserve the right to abandon any trip where this is ignored. |

Do you have a minimum passenger number? – We have no minimum number. Our license covers up to 67 passengers but would always recommend a lower maximum number to suit the nature of the chartered trip we are arranging for you. Our hire costs are based on the length of time required, and represents excellent value for money.
There are many suggested table/chair layouts available depending on your numbers and style of event you would like. |

When can we arrive for our charter trip? - boarding is normally from 10 minutes from the agreed starting time. |

Can we decorate the boat for our party? - yes of course, with balloons, banners, flowers using blue tack or ribbon BUT we cannot accept pins or sellotape that would damage the boat, or the use of metallic glitter, confetti, sprinkles on tables or party poppers because all of these cause us great difficulty with cleaning up.
