Who are your owners? We are. Avon River Cruises Ltd is a totally independent family owned and managed company.  
  Is the “Silver Salmon” your only vessel?Yes she is, at least at the moment. However, with totally flexible seating and table layouts she is ideal for any occasion, from short day trips to all day charters, from parties to corporate functions, from weddings to wakes, with our own on board catering for buffets to formal lunches or dinners.

Can we bring our own food and drink on board? – No, we can provide a wide range of catering at sensible prices.

 
  Can we get off at the (Weston) lock?Not normally, because our duty of care for our passengers emphasises that experienced crew only must disembark and safely operate the lock gates.
Is your vessel easily accessible for elderly persons?Yes, we are just a few yards from the road, no steps but a gentle slope down to our moorings. We are just 2 minutes walk from the Riverside coach park or coaches/buses can pull up on the road close by to offload/load their passengers.  
  Can you take disabled passengers?Yes, we have plenty of room on board for several wheelchair passengers, provided they can manage, with our assistance, just 6 small steps to board.
Is your vessel safe? Yes, absolutely. The “Silver Salmon” is a steel hull wide beam river cruiser built to the highest standards and conforming entirely to all operational and safety regulations as specified by the official licensing authority, the MCA (Maritime & Coastguard Agency)  
  Do you have a minimum passenger number?We have no minimum number. We are licensed to carry up to 67 passengers.
What is your smoking policy?For the comfort of all of our passengers, smoking is not allowed inside the vessel, but any smokers are very welcome to use the open front deck.
