Avon River Cruises Ltd is a family business, specialising in private charters and operating all year round. We operate from Bath in the summer season, May to October and from Bristol harbour in the winter season, November to April. 

We pride ourselves on the reputation we have established for the friendly service, flexible approach and individual consideration we offer to all of our customers. We appreciate that every occasion is special, and our excellent crew will ensure our clients enjoy their time on board with us, in relaxed and comfortable surroundings. 

Our passenger boat the “Silver Salmon” is the largest and best equipped vessel operating on the river Avon from both Bath and Bristol. We are licensed to carry up to 67 passengers, but would normally take a lesser number, depending on the type of event.

You are sure to be comfortable however long your cruise is with us, with both ladies and gents. toilets, a bar, music system, central heating and fully equipped galley to serve hot and cold food prepared on board, and we have a fully flexible table and chair arrangement to accommodate any layout for any function. 

Cruises are available 7 days a week, daytime and evening, and we specialise in organising the perfect event for you.

The MV “Silver Salmon” 

A wide beam steel passenger boat, built in Keynsham in 1988 to the highest standards for comfort and safety, and fully equipped for all year round operation. The Silver Salmon operates under the very strict safety standards of the licensing authority, the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency).
